We are focused on establishing international collaborations with pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies with the objective of bringing innovative therapeutic specialty medicines to Canada that will enhance the lives of Canadians.
Because partnerships and alliances are a key component of our commercial growth strategy, we allocate significant financial and corporate resources to our business development activities and strategies. We recognize and appreciate the value of strong, mutually-beneficial business relationships and ensure that our partners are provided the necessary resources, attention and focus in order to succeed.
Our commercialization team is highly knowledgeable, experienced, resourceful, and driven by shared goals. We are agile and have the ability to transfer our know-how into new opportunities across multiple therapeutic areas.
OUR CORE THERAPEUTIC INVESTMENT
We are continually looking for opportunities to in-license or acquire specialty pharmaceutical products for the Canadian market in the following therapeutic areas of expertise: Infectious Disease, Hospital Acute Care and Gastroenterology.
Furthermore, we’re looking for products that are either already approved by Health Canada, have a regulatory dossier available for registration in Canada or are in late stages of development (Phase III or later).
EXPLORING OTHER OPPORTUNITIES—TOGETHER
As we’re looking to fulfill unmet needs in Canada, we are always interested in new opportunities within other therapeutic areas given they have supporting clinical evidence and are in late stages of development (Phase III and later).
We also collaborate with international companies looking for a distribution partner that can take their Health Canada approved product and distribute it across Canada.
We are always interested in meeting with potential new partners to collaborate with. We participate in numerous partnering conferences around the globe including: BioEurope Spring, Bio International and BioEurope.
